Education cannot inspect your property

Our articles, symptom navigator, anatomy diagram, examples and location pages do not inspect a building, diagnose a defect, specify a repair or determine that an appliance is safe to operate. Appliance instructions, on-site findings and applicable requirements matter.

Company information is a research starting point

Company profiles use the available directory feed. Contact information, services, credentials, insurance fields, ratings and source verification flags may change. We have not independently confirmed each field. A source-verified record does not mean that this site has verified a technician’s qualifications or endorsed the company. Confirm relevant details directly and, for credentials, with the issuer.

Tools organize information you supply

The quote workbench compares entered scopes; it does not estimate market prices, recommend a winner or measure workmanship. The chimney passport stores observations and history when you choose to save them on your device. Neither tool is a safety assessment. The site does not submit those entries to contractors or book an appointment.

Images and scenarios are illustrative

Local context has limits

State weather notes are regional context. Directory service coverage and approximate nearby-city distances are calculated from available records. They do not establish availability, local chimney prevalence or a particular building’s condition.
