Information we process

Search filters you enter appear in the URL and are used to display directory results. We do not offer accounts or collect payment information on this site. Hosting systems may process IP addresses, browser details and requested pages for delivery, security and operations.

Passport and quote worksheet storage

The chimney passport and quote workbench hold your entries in the current browser page. Choosing Save on this device writes a copy to that browser’s local storage. The worksheet data is not submitted to our server or sent to contractors. It remains on that device until you clear it using the tool, clear browser storage or remove the browser profile. A shared device may allow another user to restore it.

Download and print actions create copies under your control. Clearing saved browser data does not delete files you downloaded or printed. Do not enter sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for describing the chimney work.

Email and corrections

If you email us, your email address, message and any attachments are processed to respond or assess the correction. Please send only information needed for the request. Our contact address is email@chimneysweepguide.com.

Directory records

Business profiles contain professional contact and service information supplied through the shared directory feed. If a listing is inaccurate, send the profile URL and requested correction with supporting public information.

External sites

Links and phone actions may take you to independent businesses. Their privacy practices are their own. We do not control their collection or use of information.
